Account and learner details: name, email address, mobile number, school or organisation, class, language and the programme you joined through.
Learning activity: chapters completed, quiz answers, certificate records and feedback you choose to send, including optional voice feedback.
Payment details: your name, email, phone number and order amount, so we can issue receipts and match payments to orders. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Cashfree and are never stored by us.

Basic usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, used to improve the site and report on programme reach.
How we use it
To run the course, track progress, issue certificates and send one-time passwords and reminders.
To process payments, send receipts and deliver hygiene kits you order.
To answer enquiries, support partners and sponsors, and produce impact reports for CSR sponsors. Reports for sponsors use aggregated learning data.
To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
Didi and AI services
Messages you send to Didi are processed by AI and speech providers so that Didi can reply and speak in your language. Please do not share sensitive personal details such as full address, ID numbers or bank information in chat. Didi gives educational information and is not a substitute for medical advice.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site: Cashfree for payments, email and messaging providers for receipts and OTPs, cloud hosting and storage, and AI and speech providers for Didi.
If you joined through a school, NGO or CSR sponsor, they can see learner participation and completion for their programme. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Children and young learners
The course is designed for girls, including those under 18, usually joining through a school, NGO or family. We ask that a parent, guardian or teacher is aware of the child using the service. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete a child's data at any time.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet tax and accounting rules. Payment records are retained as required by Indian law. We use encrypted connections, access controls and hosted databases to protect your data, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
We process your personal data based on your consent, given when you create an account or submit a form. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, withdraw consent at any time, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to support@ttom.co.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.
For a learner under 18, a parent or legal guardian can exercise these rights and can withdraw consent for the child.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how your data is handled, write to support@ttom.co.in with the subject "Data grievance". We will acknowledge it and work to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
